United Nations
Global Sustainability Analytics

For this comprehensive study for the United Nations, we deployed advanced natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning to analyse over 1,600 sustainability reports from 893 companies across 75 countries. By mapping corporate disclosures against the UNGC Ten Principles, we uncovered distinct regional and industry-specific patterns in how global leaders approach environmental stewardship, human rights, and anti-corruption.

The analysis revealed each country and industry has its own priorities including Sustainable Tourism (Türkiye, Thailand and China); Water Stewardship (Belgium, Australia and US) and Green manufacturing (China, UAE and Thailand)

This deep-dive data synthesis identified eight unique clusters of corporate behaviour from "Nobles" with comprehensive alignment to "Vanguards" leading in green technology. These insights provide a rigorous foundation for benchmarking global ESG efforts and offer a clear roadmap for enhancing transparency and accountability in corporate sustainability initiatives worldwide.

The Global Aid Graph
A complex and vital ecosystem

To map the complex topology of global aid, we analysed over 10 million transactions connecting 2,456 organizations across 230 countries. Our analysis exposes a fragmented landscape of functional "islands" where coordination often fails due to structural holes between humanitarian and development sectors.

Influence in this ecosystem flows through connectivity, not just spending. While governments provide the funding, universities and research foundations act as the essential bridges holding the system together. Identifying these central brokers provides a new framework for donors to de-risk investments and bridge the gap between global financing and localized impact

NSW Government
Disaster Response Analytics

For the NSW Government’s Independent Flood Inquiry, we deployed a multi-layered data strategy that integrated the analysis of over 1,400 public submissions with real-time search behaviour and social media sentiment.

This rapid evidence synthesis turned months of qualitative community data into a structured map of systemic failures. By identifying critical gaps in urban planning, insurance, and emergency response, we provided the rigorous foundation needed for the final recommendations to the NSW Premier’s Department.
